Manatt Health Senior Manager Jacqueline Marks spoke with TIME about the push to make temporary Medicare telehealth policy expansions introduced in response to COVID-19 permanent. In the article, Marks noted that although telehealth was available within Medicare before the pandemic, federal regulations “didn’t really allow for widespread use of the tool.“ She noted that these expansions have “changed our entire healthcare ecosystem forever.“
