Manatt’s Jack Quinn, chair of the firm’s federal regulatory and government practice, has made regular live appearances on CNN and MSNBC, sharing a legal perspective on the White House news.

Most recently, Quinn appeared on MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber, where he discussed a bid by President Trump’s lawyer for a temporary restraining order that would keep federal prosecutors from reviewing evidence seized through a search warrant. The restraining order was not granted.

“They lost because what they were asking for was unprecedented,” said Quinn. “They were basically saying they wanted to review the documents first.”
