Manatt’s Ian Spatz, a senior advisor with our Manatt Health team, was quoted by the Los Angeles Times in an article on California’s call for drug pricing transparency.
The publication noted that Governor Jerry Brown signed SB 17 into law in October 2017. The new law aims to provide greater disclosure on drug pricing, and will go into effect in January 2019.
“The legislation is clear that no reporting is required of any information that is not already in the public domain,” said Spatz. “It requires companies to make transparent what is already transparent.”
