NPR interviewed Manatt’s Joel Ario, a managing director with Manatt Health, on The Diane Rehm Show for a segment about the Affordable Care Act’s future under a new administration, as well as a discussion of recent rate increases and subsidies.
Despite the high rate increases that have hit the marketplace this year, Ario said, “The market today, because you can now get insurance even when you have a pre-existing condition, is so much better and so much more stable than it was.”
