On June 1-4, 2011, the American Advertising Federation will hold its annual conference at which two Manatt partners, Jeff Edelstein and Chris Cole, will join professionals from influential advertising agencies, media companies, consumer products companies and other organizations to share insights on new legal developments regarding digital media, sustainability and other emerging areas.
Chris will offer perspective on the sustainability/corporate response panel along with his co-panelists, Allison Arden (VP Publisher, Advertising Age), Kim Nagele (Senior Sourcing Manager, JCP Media Inc.), and Adam Werbach (CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi) in their presentation, "Trying vs. Lying: Who’s Doing Their Part and Who Isn’t." Chris will address how leading brands are ramping up their green efforts to appeal to consumers and provide insight on how to develop a compliant green marketing program.
Jeff will present on the legal panel, "Laying Down the Law of Advertising," highlighting the unique legal and business challenges posed by digital and social media.
