Manatt CEO and Managing Partner Donna Wilson has been named to Daily Journal’s 2021 “Top Women Lawyers” list. The annual recognition highlights California women lawyers at the top of their practice.
In her profile, Wilson discussed how a “tumultuous 2020 strengthened the bonds” between the firm and its clients, which included the creation of the firm's COVID-19 taskforce as a significant step. She also recalled how she maintained a close relationship with the firm’s professionals via town halls as well as a virtual retreat that more than 700 professionals attended. The publication also highlighted Wilson’s work as co-leader of the privacy and data security practice. In this role, clients have turned to Wilson for bet-the-company privacy incidents in which she engaged with state and federal regulators and law enforcement to notify affected customers, work through complex business partner relationships and mitigate litigation risks.
This latest honor is Wilson’s fifth time being named to the acclaimed “Top Women Lawyers” list.
