Swords to Plowshares Honors Manatt at Veterans Day Celebration.
Manatt received the "Pro Bono Partner of the Year" award from Swords to Plowshares, a not-for-profit organization serving veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area, at the organization's 19th Annual Veterans Day Dinner, held Nov. 10 in San Francisco. The honor recognized Manatt for its significant pro bono efforts on behalf of veterans in the Bay Area.

Working with Swords to Plowshares, Manatt lawyers assist veterans in accessing benefits for disabilities related to their time in service. In just over two years since starting this collaborative effort with Swords, approximately 20 of the firm's San Francisco and Silicon Valley attorneys have handled 27 cases for low-income and homeless veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area, accounting for more than 800 hours of pro bono support.
