Liz Satterthwaite is counsel in the real estate transactions and finance practice, and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Liz represents commercial developers and owners in all aspects of acquiring, entitling, developing, leasing, building, financing and joint-venturing commercial properties. She also has extensive experience representing both borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of financing transactions, including CMBS loans, construction loans, and single and multiproperty secured and unsecured loans, including revolving loan facilities, bridge loans and corporate credit facilities.
Prior to joining Manatt, Liz worked at a Santa Monica-based legal group, where her work included advising developers and tenants regarding real estate and general corporate matters, as well as structuring, negotiating and drafting documents related to acquisitions, disposition, joint ventures and financings of shopping centers and office buildings.
Earlier in her career, Liz served as deputy general counsel and senior vice president of finance for a real estate development and shopping center REIT in Los Angeles. Liz began her career as an associate at the Los Angeles office of an international law firm, where she specialized in financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, real estate funds, and joint ventures.
