Manatt corporate and finance partner Scott Schwartz, and corporate and finance associates Ben Ryzak and Stephen Winick, represented the Hain Celestial Group in the sale of its Casbah Authentic Grains brand to U.S. Durum Products Limited. The transaction closed on March 16, 2020.

The Hain Celestial Group’s (NASDAQ: HAIN) mission is to be the leading marketer, manufacturer and seller of organic and natural better-for-you products. Hain has operations in North America, Europe and India. In 1993, US Durum Products became the first couscous manufacturer in North America. Based on Lancaster, Pennsylvania, US Durum presently maintains the largest couscous manufacturing facility in the United States. The purchase price for the transaction is not being disclosed by the parties.
