Manatt Land Use Partner David C. Smith will present at the California Building Industry Association’s Select Conference on Industry Litigation in Monterey, CA on November 12, 2023.

David will present how two new California laws—SB 253 and SB 261—will mandate climate emission and climate “risk” disclosures by entities with specified minimum global revenues doing any business in California, for all operations worldwide.

The California Building Industry Association’s Select Conference on Industry Litigation provides an opportunity for land use attorneys representing homebuilders and land developers to come together to assess and examine significant legal issues impacting the industry.
