Appellate partner Ben Shatz will speak on “Presenting and Preparing for Appellate Oral Argument,” a virtual CLE program hosted by the California Lawyers Association. The 90-minute program will cover the purpose of oral argument, preparation for argument and presentation of argument. Speaking alongside a former Justice pro tem for the California Court of Appeal, Second District, Ben will also examine post-argument matters and share advice on best practices and techniques for persuading appellate judges.
