Manatt land use partner David C. Smith will serve as moderator for a panel discussion titled “CEQA 2019: The Strength of Exemption and Other Lessons Learned” at the UCLA Extension Land Use Law and Planning Conference, taking place on Friday, January 24, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles. Smith is also serving as co-chair for the event.

Bringing together attorneys, planners, consultants, environmentalists and developers, this annual conference offers insights to emerging issues in California’s land use and development practices.  Smith’s panel will focus on the latest CEQA developments from the past year.
