– Daily Journal

The Daily Journal interviewed Manatt's Craig Moyer, chair of the firm's Land, Environment and Natural Resources practice, for an article on the penalties that Volkswagen AG faces for its cheating emissions scandal. In addition to numerous civil suits, Volkswagen faces up to $18 billion in fines from a lawsuit by the EPA, as well as potential criminal charges by the DOJ.

"This is the kind of case you would look at as a potential for criminal charges if this was an intentional act," Moyer said.
