Chelsey Mori is a law clerk in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She is a 2019 graduate of University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and is currently awaiting results from the California State Bar Examination, which she took in summer 2019.
Before joining Manatt, Chelsey worked in legal affairs for the Interntional Maritime Organization in London, drafting recommendations for the IMO Ambassador scheme and briefing the Secretary General on the status of international disputes.
Chelsey also worked as an associate for a bankruptcy law firm, focusing on fraudulent transfer issues and drafting part of a law review article entitled “Doing Equity in Bankruptcy” published in the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
At Berkeley, Chelsey consulted on business development and go-to-market strategies for a virtual reality startup and for Sony Entertainment.
